Poem: Faeries Daughter:
Created (C) 10-23-04 Ora Moon
Love the Faeries Daughter
As the sea crashes her turbulent water
Touchstone of Earth her sacred alter
Why does she sit and sigh
Waning time darkens foamy depths white
Contact is made this starry night
Sensitive listener sounds of heart
Silver hair sparkles in the dark
Open gate beckons transformation and change
Awareness draws back in pale night’s bane
Perfection of mask assumed during life
Distinctions of mortals walking in strife
Glistening illumination Faery ray dreams
All knowledge is found in moonlight beams
Lustful needs and passionate swift deeds
Fae are everywhere but seldom seen
Dancing and Leaping in and out effects
Powerful is her Magick, what did you expect
Sometimes so silly, she just won’t behave
Casting spells of might creating such waves
Love the Faeries Daughter
As the Cauldron holds the Sacred Water
Ignorance produces the best of doubters
Why does she sit and sigh
Dedication: To
my loving husband, and my beautiful son.
Artists Profile:
This poem was
written for all the Faeries Daughters out their known or unknown. Faeries,
like most subtle things, like to hide and be unseen. This work embraces the
realms of Fae which is a continual inspiration and a source of divine
illumination for me. It is my hope that by acknowledging the teachings of Fae
the Fae will continue to bring sources of awareness to us.
